Continue this method until all three eyes have gone into the ground. Utilize this period of time to attack a single eye.Īfter a few hits, the eye will retreat into the ground, leaving just two. The eyes will each perform the same attack simultaneously, followed by a moment of silence. The three eyes will sink into the ground and you'll need to play a bit of whack-a-mole as each of them emerge. The majority of this phase will require fighting three of its eyes, which it will summon from its head after a moment. This portion of the fight is far less chaotic, but requires a lot of patience, as The One Who Waits' is quite tanky in this form. The second phase commences with The One Who Waits becoming a large, red multi-eyed demon at the back of the arena. Once it's depleted, the second phase will begin. If your attacks are strong or frequent enough, you might get lucky and stun The One Who Waits for a moment, causing it to collapse to the ground. Roll through each row while taking the opportunity to smack The One Who Waits with your weapon a couple times in between each roll. The One Who Waits will also summon a cross-shaped formation of projectiles that will rotate in a counter-clockwise fashion. Run around the arena or dodge roll to avoid this attack. ![]() It will send out four circle-shaped clusters of projectiles towards your location one at a time. When The One Who Waits raises its hands above its head, it's going to perform a projectile attack. As with the previous attack, simply move away from the red target to avoid any unnecessary damage. The One Who Waits will also use a variant of the spikes attack where it calls forth a spiral pattern from the ground. Continue moving to avoid taking damage, or roll through the spikes if you get caught near a wall. This attack is generally in a straight line that moves quickly across the arena in three waves. Similar to the previous two foes, The One Who Waits will call forth spikes from the ground after displaying the red targets. The One Who Waits moves around the arena by quickly sinking into the ground below it, and popping up somewhere else, making tracking its movements somewhat difficult. The first phase is in the same arena you fought the previous two minibosses. After taking down Baal and Aym, you'll finally face The One Who Waits in a final battle.
